CFI Cape Town City - Eersteriver Assembly

Branching out from the Khayelitsha Assembly to establish a City Assembly, the CFI Cape Town City – Eerste River Assembly began with approximately nine members, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the ministry of Cornerstone Fellowship International in Cape Town. Built upon the foundation of Jesus Christ and His Word, the assembly shares CFI’s vision of establishing community-based churches that build the body of Christ by building individuals in Christ. Eerste River is a growing residential community on the eastern outskirts of Cape Town, home to diverse families, young people, and people from different backgrounds. This provides an opportunity for the church to extend its reach beyond the congregation, bringing the Gospel to the community and helping individuals grow in their knowledge of God and His Word. In line with CFI’s mission, the Eerste River Assembly is committed to evangelising the community, establishing believers in the faith, equipping the saints for ministry, and encouraging every member to serve God with excellence. Through biblical teaching, prayer, worship, discipleship, and community outreach, the assembly seeks to nurture spiritually mature believers who can make a meaningful impact in their families, workplaces, and communities. From its humble beginnings of approximately nine members, the assembly continues to pursue the vision of building a strong community of believers firmly rooted in Christ, raising disciples, and advancing the Kingdom of God in Eerste River and beyond.
